This includes youth workers, Connexions staff, participation officers, social workers, teachers & voluntary sector youth leaders to support them in the delivery of quality youth work.
What is offered?
A well-known author in the social education field, Vanessa Rogers draws on her own youth work practice and over ten years successful training to motivate workers, providing practical training packages to motivate and engage young people in positive activities.
There are a wide range of course programmes to choose from and these are offered on a seasonal basis. This means that Vanessa is constantly working on fresh courses developed in response to young people’s issues, and you can be sure the content is always up to date, reflecting current youth work trends.
All of her established one-day courses can be adapted to form an interesting and interactive workshop or ‘taster session’ suitable for conferences, meetings or events.
If you are looking for training in a specific area of youth work you can commission Vanessa to write a bespoke training programme specifically for you. Bespoke training in-house can allow greater flexibility and be a cost effective way of maximizing learning.
Please contact Vanessa Rogers to discuss your requirements and prices for this service. If you miss a course that you are particularly interested in please contact Vanessa for a bespoke course, or consider buying a Vanessa Rogers Training Pack so that you can deliver it yourself.
All courses currently available are listed within five categories. These come complete with course outlines and are the courses that are included in the prices shown on the rates page. All courses are booked in accordance with my Terms and Conditions.
This range of courses offer those working outside of building based youth projects an opportunity to develop the detached youth work skills required for effective street work.
